Thanks to their ceaseless efforts, the Oceanarium is a fascinating place to visit, providing both education and entertainment. New last year was the Maine Lobster Fishing Program. The Maine Lobster Hatchery and the Thomas Bay Salt Marsh Tour remain as highly popular favorites. The Discovery Pool Touch Tank is good as ever. 		Save Gas! The Island Explorer free bus service will bring you right to the Oceanarium Bar Harbor drive if you take the Campground bus and tell the driver you want to get off at the Oceanarium. The Oceanarium is located at 1351 State Route 3, Bar Harbor, ME 04609 and is open daily 9 to 5 except Sundays and will be open until mid or late October. Best to call ahead in October to confirm.
